Special discount offers were available on pre-orders for 2024/2025 packs received before 27 September (2024), before the annual publication of new prelim packs each October. Please note that discounted offers ended on 27/9/24 (a grace period of +2 working days is normally in operation to compensate for any centre processing delays), although modified offers may be available for some subject bundles, please see the relevant subject pages.

Flyers/order forms are available to download for this new session’s 2024-2025 series. All pre-ordered packs were despatched by 1st October 2024 and subsequent new orders will be available for despatch within 23-36 hours of receipt. (valid for session 2024-2025/SQA exam diet 2025).

Ordering

When ordering prelims, please ensure that you include your SQA Centre number and an official purchase order/another reference as appropriate. All local authorities/councils now require that we have an official purchase order noted on your order and quoted on our invoices.

Details of your order (SQA centre no etc.) are checked against our official list for security. Your individual work-based email address is stored and associated with purchase orders/ your centre’s associated invoices to maintain details of your copyright licences for prelim papers and to allow you to download these securely. Data is stored in full compliance with GDPR data protection law.

Please note that downloads are linked to named accounts/email addresses – please ensure that you provide the email address of the person who will download any PDF/electronic prelims on your order (‘E ‘codes) (centres/authorities often find it easier to include this as an order comment on official purchase orders).

Prelim exam papers will only be supplied to SQA-authorised centres. If ordering an electronic copy, please ensure that your email address is a secure one which is centre-based (provided by your school/college).

An invoice will be sent to your school/council/college office, as appropriate, for payment.

Postage and packing is changed on all paper format packs for postal delivery – £3 per item. No postage and packing/delivery is charged on ePack PDF download orders as secure links to download these are available in secure customer accounts linked to the supplied email address given on the order. An email with direct links to download packs is also sent upon completion of your order.

Ordering online

1. To browse our catalogue of current prelim papers valid for 24/2025 (2024/2025), please choose the  Prelim Exams for 24/2025 link. Past prelims are also available. This session’s NEW 24/2025 prelim papers were available to pre-order for despatch on publication by 1st October.  Orders after this date are despatched within 24-36 hours for digital downloads and as close to this period as possible for any paper/postal orders.
2. Click on the prelim you wish to order according to subject. This will take you to a page with information on that pack. Please add the item you wish to purchase to your shopping basket.
3. Repeat this process for each paper you wish to order.
4. Click the “Basket” link at the top of the page to edit, view or finalise the items in your basket.

When you wish to complete your order, please choose “Check out now”. If you have used this website before you will be asked to log in, otherwise please enter your details as a new customer. Complete your order by following the instructions on screen.

Alternatively, add the items you wish to purchase to your shopping basket and then print them off and pass to your school/college office to order in the usual way. If you are ordering digital downloads please ensure that you include a valid centre-based email address.

If you are not using an official council/college purchase order system, please ensure your order includes code/description of the item(s), delivery address & contact name, SQA Centre Number (for prelims), and official purchase order number/reference.

Payment

All orders (with valid purchase order number/reference) from SQA authorised centres will be invoiced on despatch of goods, with payment due on invoice through your usual payment processing channels.

Orders should be paid on invoice via Bank Transfer (BACS, please add your invoice number or PO as a reference). Other methods of payment such as DirectDebit or card payments are supported but can only be used when pre-arranged – unfortunately due to transaction fees we may be unable to offer any discounts (including those applying to pre-orders) on orders paid via this method. Use of corporate cards will incur an additional transaction charge of 1% of the invoice total.
