Complete National 5 French prelim paper (70 marks).
This pack contains Reading (30 marks), Writing (20 marks) and Listening (20 marks) papers. It includes a CD (paper pack version) or MP3 file (ePack download version) containing the Listening track. A full marking key and Listening Transcript is also included. This pack complies with the latest SQA formats and standards.
In the Reading paper candidates will be required to provide short responses to answer questions on three presented topical French texts. In Writing candidates will be asked to write, in French, in response to stimulus material.
In the Listening paper candidates will be asked to listen to the provided audio track (monologue and short conversation) and write short responses in English to answer the questions based on this.
Question papers are carefully balanced and closely emulate the national standard. The papers appropriately sample material from the full course to help generate valid, reliable and robust estimates. The detailed marking scheme gives likely candidate responses and full guidance on marks allocations.
